Couples & Family Therapy

Strengthening the connections that matter most, even when communication feels impossible.

When Relationships Feel Stuck

Every relationship goes through difficult periods. Sometimes the distance between partners or family members grows so gradually that you barely notice until communication has broken down entirely. You may find yourselves repeating the same arguments, feeling unheard, or withdrawing into silence because talking only seems to make things worse. These patterns are painful, but they do not have to be permanent.

Seeking therapy together is one of the most meaningful investments you can make in your relationship. It takes courage to sit in a room and be honest about what is not working. I create a space where that honesty feels safe and where every voice in the room is valued.

My Approach

I work from a family systems perspective, which means I look at relationships as interconnected rather than focusing on any single person as the problem. Drawing on DBT skills and evidence-based couples techniques, I help you and your partner or family develop more effective ways of communicating, managing conflict, and expressing needs. The goal is not to eliminate disagreement but to transform how you navigate it together.

Who This Is For

Couples and family therapy can help with a wide range of challenges, including communication breakdowns, trust issues, life transitions such as a new baby or career change, blended family adjustments, parenting disagreements, and the emotional impact of illness or loss on the family system. Whether you are a couple seeking to reconnect or a family trying to find your footing during a difficult chapter, I am here to help.

What to Expect

We start with an initial consultation to understand what brought you to therapy and what each person hopes to gain. From there, I tailor our sessions to your specific situation. Sessions may include the couple or family together, and occasionally individual conversations when helpful. I am available in person at my Narberth office and via telehealth throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
